About The Event
The workshop focuses on the unique properties of porcelain clay. It will begin with instruction of slab rolling , pressing lace onto a surface and coloured slip application. The slab will placed in a hump or slump form to create a dish. There will be time to experiment with ideas and create more than one dish.
The work will take two weeks to dry, fire and glaze before it is ready for your collection.
Drinks will be provided during the day, please bring your own packed lunch.
